Joining the hype - reasons to buy Rimmel's Wake Me Up foundation

Beauty bloggers have been swearing by the little bottle with the orange lid and now I can see why. Rimmel have introduced a lightweight, dewy, Mac-esque foundation that gives good coverage and doesn’t let the world know you’re wearing foundation. It’s not as thick as Mac’s Studio Sculpt foundation (which I used to swear by) but the liquid consistency means it’s light and airy on your skin.

Below are the main reasons I'll be repurchasing this foundation - and why you should give it whirl too!

- it's lightweight
-  it's fresh looking
- it's dewy without being shiny
- doesn’t go cakey (even around your nose!)
- good coverage
- you get change from a £10 note
Such a great buy, when my skin isn't too blemished I actually prefer it over my MAC Studio Sculpt which is madness, as it's less than half the price.
The only slight down side is that under certain light it's quite sparkly but I think for the price, the pros outweigh the cons.
Any of you tried and loved a high street/drugstore foundation?

  1. I've heard really great things about this foundation. is it long-lasting and does it make you look oily at all? what about the color range?
